MPCF-Camarines Sur stages ‘Live’ the 39th Ring-Hop, Commencement and Completion Exercises
After two consecutive years of foregoing with the ‘live’ graduation rites and having succumb to the on-line virtual ceremonies during the pandemic times, the Mariners Polytechnic Colleges Foundation (MPCF) in Canaman, Camarines Sur finally held its ‘face-to-face’ 39th Ring-Hop, Commencement and Completion Exercises on July 14, 2023.
The physical presence at the occasion of the members the graduating batch, parents, guests, the school’s faculty members, staff and administration led by President Dr. Marilissa Jimenez Ampuan and Executive Vice President Dr. Gabriel Lazaro Jimenez, registered a difference as it made the ceremonies alive and more meaningful.
The event adopted the theme “2023 Graduates: Celebrating Perseverance, Embracing Opportunities, Shifting Perspectives”. Dr. Felicito P. Dalaguete, Ed.D., LLM who perked-up the spirit of the graduates with his timely and relevant message, graced the affair as the Guest of Honor and Commencement Speaker.
The academic programs earned by the graduates include Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation, BS in Marine Engineering, BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, BS in Customs Administration and Cruise Ship Management Course.
An enhanced level of joy and excitement engulfed not only the graduates but the members of the academic community who were witnesses on how things were done at the height of the enforcement of the COVID-19 health restrictions.
This return to normal activities to mark the end of the school year was felt by everyone as it became colorful, more meaningful and a day to remember for the graduates who passed the portals of the institution as they embark on their journey in their respective chosen fields of profession.
