Congratulations to Midn. Joebert T. Avila for being one of the Top 10 winners among 18 contestants during the 17th National Oratorical Contest held on September 25, 2023 at AMOSUP Convention Hall!
Midn. Avila proudly represented Mariners’ Polytechnic Colleges Foundation of Canaman (Cam. Sur), Inc and was also the lone contestant from the Bicol region. The Oratorical Contest is organized by the National Seafarers Day Committee in cooperation with MARINA and Stella-Maris Philippines in celebration of the 28th National Seafarer’s Day (NSD). The celebration of NSD gives due recognition to the vital role played by our Filipino seafarers towards the development of the Philippines as a maritime country.
