Mariners’ Polytechnic Colleges, Inc. offers scholarships and tuition discounts to help students access quality education through our various financial assistance programs.
1. JCI/ELJ Academic Excellence Full Academic Scholarship.
Qualification
A. Open to incoming freshmen who will enroll in Maritime Programs
B. Must have an average of 97 or above in Senior High School (Grade 12 final overall average)
C. Not more than 20 years old
D. At least above average Intelligence Quotient (IQ)
E. At least above average in English, Math and Science Tests respectively
Scholarship Grant
Full scholarship (100% Tuition Fee Discount including miscellaneous fees)
Duration of Scholarship
3 academic years including Onboard Training
Maintaining Grade Requirements
B. 90 general weighted average (GWA) every semester
C. No grade below 85
Application Procedure
A. Accomplish online application form
B. Submit documentary requirements (ex. Grade 12 card and relevant documents such as certificate of indigency)
C. Pass written examination
D. Pass interview by the Scholarship Committee
E. Undergo final interview from the President
Terms
A. Student shall render services during their stay in MPCF Canaman as needed.
B. Student shall render services as trainer/instructor for at least 2 academic years in MPCF Canaman after licensure
exam as Officer-In-Charge (OIC) at MARINA.
Qualifications
A. Must be an active Band Member/Majorette.
B. At least 70 GWA in the semester applied for scholarship.
C. No grade below 70 in the semester applied for scholarship.
D. With at least satisfactory performance and recommendation for scholarship as
evaluated by the Band Director (for band) or Majorette Trainer (for majorettes).
Discount
20-100% TFD depending on performance.
Duration of Scholarship/Discount
1 Semester during the latter period.
Application Procedure
A. The Band Director or Majorette Trainor will submit an individual performance evaluation and recommendation of the band member or majorette who will receive a discount to the Scholarship Office.
B. The Scholarship Committee will endorse the recommendation of the Band Director (for band) or Majorette Trainer (for majorettes) to the President for approval.
Qualifications
A. Must be an active Student-Athlete.
B. At least 70 GWA in the semester applied for scholarship.
C. No grade below 70 in the semester applied for scholarship.
D. With at least satisfactory performance and recommendation for scholarship as
evaluated by the Head Coach.
Discount
A. 20-100% TFD depending on the performance evaluation by the Coaches and Sports Coordinator.
B. Full scholarship is on a case to case basis subject for President’s approval.

Application Procedure
A. The Head Coach will submit an individual performance evaluation and recommendation of the Student-Athlete who will receive a discount to the Scholarship Office.
B. The Scholarship Committee will endorse the recommendation of the head Coach to the President for approval.
Qualification
A. Open to officially enrolled students with siblings simultaneously enrolled in any program in the school.
B. No failing grade in the last semester enrolled.

Application Procedure
A. Applicants will accomplish an online application form which will be posted at the start of the semester. The application will run for 1 month from the start of the classes.
B. The Scholarship Officer will endorse a list of students who will be awarded with the discount to the president for approval.
Terms
Onboard Training and other special trainings are excluded.
Offered by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) provide financial assistance to eligible students to help cover tuition and other educational expenses.
The Student Financial Assistance Program (StuFAP) of CHED aims to help deserving students facing financial challenges pursue their college education by providing tuition and other forms of financial support.
The CHED Merit Scholarship Program (CMSP) recognizes and supports academically gifted students by providing financial assistance to help them pursue their tertiary education.
The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) offers scholarships to qualified dependents of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to support their college education.
This scholarship program provides financial assistance to students who work as student assistants.
The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) provides scholarships to dependents of military personnel to assist them in their educational pursuits.
