Some officers and members of the Mariners Polytechnic Colleges Foundation (MPCF) Alumni Association gathered in a get-together event on December 10, 2022.

The affair was highlighted with a Round-Table Discussion in which the participants brought-up plans and concerns of the members, including the continuing support for the maritime education of deserving students coming from financially-challenged families.

The group also took-up the strategies for an Alumni Homecoming which will coincide with the school’s Foundation Anniversary celebration in March this year.

Other matters taken-up at the Round Table Discussion include the construction of an Alumni Building to be ably supported by the school administration.

This will house a museum, a gym for physical fitness activities, a Clinic and a Water Purifying Facility intended to be Income Generating projects for the Association.

School officials including Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Edgar Despi and Vice President for External and Student Affairs Alfred Karlo J. Ampuan, together with the Department Heads, Faculty Members and Staff graced the affair. Alumni Coordinator Leo Panganiban led the Organizing Committee of the event.

The Mariners Polytechnic Colleges Foundation Alumni Association under the leadership of Captain Randy Francia continues the move to unify the school’s graduates and to further strengthen the spirit of solidarity for the welfare of the Alumni and the would-be professionals after they finished their chosen course in the institution.
