Mariners Schools conduct December 2023 Job Fair as Institution nears 50th Foundation Anniversary
As part of the Mariners Schools’ 50th Foundation Anniversary, a Job Fair was held at the Atrium, Robinsons’ Place, Diversion Road in Naga City. It was also conducted in observance of the Month of Overseas Filipinos (MOF) in December.
Th activity was designed to provide employment opportunities to local job seekers. The Mariners’ Polytechnic Colleges Inc. (MPCI) in Naga City and Mariners Polytechnic Colleges Foundation (MPCF) in Canaman, Camarines Sur sponsored this Local and Overseas Job Fair on December 12, 2023.
The job seekers came to meet the participating firms which included 19 local employers, 7 overseas placement agencies, and 4 government agencies.
The partnerships with the City Government of Naga through the Metro Naga PESO, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), Robinsons Naga, and Alumni Association of MPCI and MPCF were instrumental in the success of the event
It can be noted that 19 local employers, 6 overseas placement agencies, and 4 Government Agencies offering various employment opportunities joined the activity.
A second Job Fair is earmarked to be held at the Quadrangle of Mariners Polytechnic Colleges (MPC), on March 3, 2024, a day before the 50th Anniversary of the school.
