Japanese shipping firm Maine Marine Philippines, Inc. conducts qualifying examination for MPCF Maritime Cadets

Canaman, Camarines Sur, Philippines – The Japanese shipping company – Maine Marine Philippines, Inc. conducted a qualifying examination for Maritime Cadet-Applicants at Mariners Polytechnic Colleges Foundation (MPCF) Wednesday April 26, 2023.

The shipping firm representatives who visited the school included the President of the firm, MR. KEITA OKAJIMA and other executives – ENGR. ARNEL GONZALES and MS. YUKE OKAJIMA.

The guests were welcomed in a short program held at the school campus by the MPCF Chairperson of the Board of Trustees – Ms. Evita Jimenez Tuazon and Executive Vice President Dr. Gabriel Lazaro Jimenez.

At the luncheon meeting, the guests were joined by the School Officials and the members of the Management Committee.

The aspiring Industry Scholars took the examination in the school library in the morning and faced the Interview Panel in the afternoon.

A day before coming to MPCF-Camarines Sur, the shipping firm executives conductive a similar activity at the Mariners Polytechnic Colleges Foundation of Legazpi City in the province of Albay.

Those who took the examination hope to become Industry Scholars of Maine Marine Philippines, Inc.

The ones who will qualify and finish any of the Maritime Degree Courses will be automatically admitted to work in this shipping company.

The school administration continues to sustain the linkages both with domestic and international shipping enterprises and supports the scholarship programs which benefit mostly deserving students coming from financially-challenged families.
